Been away from posting up here for a bit. Two reasons:
We had a great holiday in Mallorca and I had a lot of catching up to do. Also I have been busy getting started on the rebuild of the school (within our university) home page. Loads more to do on the layouts across the site.
I thought I would share some of the CSS / XHTML issues that have come up. This has been a case of taking other folks work and building on it and making a few changes that seem important to me.

Great pity that the row between public and private has caused the demise of the BBC's educational online resource, known as BBC jam.
At a recent OPuS meeting in Oxford Richard Pietrasik, Head of BBC Education and Phil Hemmings, Director of Corporate Affairs at RM, gave their own points of view on this very complex conflict.

I am having a look at some eMarketing services today. It is interesting to see how you can subscribe to services for setting up and sending out email marketing newsletters and the like.
I really want to try and set this up with ExpressionEngine if possible. I notice that Solspace has a link to Constant Contact so this could be a way forward.
