Adobe Acrobat 8 How-tos

Adobe Acrobat 8 How-tos

Donna L. Baker

Published by: Adobe on February 2007

Generally I don't like these books that go out of date very quickly. New versions of Acrobat make this book soon redundant. However, it does cover most aspects of using Acrobat. Javascript is only briefly mentioned.

Building Accessible Websites

Building Accessible Websites

Joe Clark

Published by: New Riders on October 2002

This is a ‘must have’ book. Joe Clark has become the known expert on this subject. I guess the real problem with this kind of work is that it makes very interesting reading but - can a person absorb all that knowledge without immediately putting the ideas in to practise?

You will read the book through with interest (very nicely written) but you will then need to refer back to it as you work on your web sites. Don’t borrow it - buy it!
