Robin Williams Web Design Workshop

Robin Williams Web Design Workshop (Robin Williams Design Workshop)

Robin Williams, John Tollett, Dave Rohr

Published by: Peachpit Press on July 2001

I’ve had this book for a while now, but I should mention it here because, I have got some useful tips out of it. Robin Williams has written many books about computers and the internet. Well known is her The Mac is not a typewriter. The book under discussion here is well presented and certainly worthwhile as a beginners guide to designing and setting up a web site. I find it more useful to dip into rather than read through front to back. There are lots and lots of example web sites presented.

Unfortunately, this book comes from the era when tables were the preferred way to layout a web page, so this should be abandoned in favour of more recent books.

Here could be some more books that are just as useful

But they may not be in my bookshelf
