One of the Inner Hebridean Islands
George Orwell wrote 1984 here. Between Jura and Scarba, at the north end is the famous wirpool Gulf of Corryvreken.

The Summer Isles
Tanera Mor is the largest of the group. This island is where Frank Fraser Darling renovated the farm and wrote of his experiences in Island Farm (1940)
