The iPad will support the popular ePub format and authors will be able to embed multimedia such as photos, videos, and audio files directly into books. That’s a cool feature for standard books and an outstanding feature for textbooks. Imagine your history book containing video and audio snippets.

Independent bookseller, Foyles, will begin stocking Sony Touch and Pocke ereaders and the BeBook Mini 5" reader. Additionally, the bookseller will open its own ebook webstore with 57,000 titles in EPUB and PDF formats.

Didn't like it. I mean why would would I want to carry around yet another device?
But the two real reasons I didn't like it:
First off, the text is justified and when you increase the zoom it can look 'orrible. You can't change the paragraph format.
And then of course, it doesn't smell of books. Still I could try this.
