BBEdit's text colours can be customised
BBEdit version 10 has the ability to open the contents of an ePUB file. You can edit the individual components of the ePUB - which, of course is actually a ZIPped file, and then re-save.
But does this actually work without issues?

Just spotted this.... It seems that Adobe Creative Suite CS5 will include a new version of Flash that will enable you to create iPhone apps.

Just one problem ... calibre is currently suggesting that it doesn't work under Mac OS X 10.6. I am running this fine on 10.6.1 so maybe this has been fixed.

I am now using Coda.
Used up the tryout period and have now committed some money for real!
What a tremendous tool this is but wait…. I still have some niggles. I love it but how can I deal with all the other lovely tools that now clutter my applications folder. What shall I do with BBedit? And what of TextMate? My students need to use Dreamweaver (unfortunately), so I still need to know all about that too.
